While keeping on eye on Mrs. Barred owl, I ran into a tourist at this park from Winnipeg. He asked me if I seen the owl, I said yes in the forest. To my grateful surprise he led me to this handsome fellow. He is much smaller compared to the Mrs. which is why we think he is a Mr. I watched him for hours and his left eye never opened. I was very sad wondering what on earth could have happened to his eye. He seemed content & had quite the preen-a-thon. Sadly I never seen him again. Sending love & light to this beautiful & semi-disabled eye hoping he lives a long & healthy life with only one eye.
