Introducing great horned owlet #2! This photo was taken several hours after the first photo I posted of him (2nd photo before this one).
He watched his sister who fledged 6 days prior & how difficult and stressful it was for her to perch in a tree. It literally took her 2 days of being on the ground trying so many tree climbing techniques.
What took his sister 3 days to accomplish he accomplished within 7 hours.
