It said minus 5 today, but once out in the country, in the middle of the fields with 30km winds it most certainly felt like a day where frostbite could happen within minutes.
After my medical appointment I drove in the almost white out conditions down rural roads looking for snowy owls. I found this beautiful girl. With a face mask, hat & scarf among my plethora of other winter ware, I braved my way into the field (with permission of course) and seen this heavenly goddess on a fence post.
I had always wanted to photograph a snowy owl on a post while it was snowing and today was that day!!! I only lasted 20 minutes out there before it became unbearable. I told her how amazing, beautiful and brave she was and then I thanked her and carried on.
