A juvenile female snowy owl taken off a rural road on the outskirts down of Ottawa, Ontario
I just love the way she was peaking over her wings.
I had become friends with the land owner for many years, as these owls visit this small town every winter, which is why I have such a close connection to certain snowy owls every winter when they visit her:)
For always and ever these will be my favourite bird.
