Description
This is the closest I have ever been lucky enough to get to concerning a wild barred owl. I was amazed and spellbound, not only by her eyes, but also by how threatened she was by humans.
Taken in a very public place, Quebec, Canada.
Taken with Canon 7D EOS
Canon L lense 4.5/5.6 100-400mm taken at 300mm

Heather King replied:
Mr Kent, I was in the right place at the right time and it was a good 6 -7 hour drive one way for other owls...and locals told me about this beauty and I could NOT believe how close we got!!! I was shaking (1. from excitement, 2. from holding my heavy camera and lens) I never wanted to leave....
