We had a day of intense wind, 30 km/hour winds with 39 km wind gusts. I was fascinated by this snowy owl as she could have perched anywhere to avoid these high winds but chose a small branch at the very top of a large tree. Watching her blow in the wind was absolutely mesmerizing to me. I could have watched her for hours.
I had to include a little snipit of myself of how excited I get even before seeing an actual owl...just driving to see them I am full of adrenaline
