On the weekend I was lucky enough to find and photograph a BEAUTIFUL Great Gray Owl! My first encounter with this species was the winter of 2012/13 and there were probably a couple dozen in the area within a 50 km radius.
These gorgeous creatures come south from their Northern Boreal Forest in search of food every 4-7 years.
