Description
I smile so big looking through all my photos of this darling northern hawk owl. This was taken in January while he was cleaning his leg feathers and talons. This shot he was just starting to preen and I got him with a clenched fist or shall I say talons.
He sort of looks like he's ready to punch someone out.
This owl has been the most amazing experience of my life, they are day time hunters which gives so much opportunity to photographers & they are thee most animated owl of all :)
