Many months ago I visited Mud Lake in Ottawa, Ontario and was beside myself with amazement. The Canadian geese were sheltering their babies from the rain. This goose here had 26 chics under both of her wings. I LOVE how protective they are of their children. I wish humans could be a little more like animals, we have so much to learn from them��
