Artist's Description

So precious, here we have Dad Loon feeding his only child. So incredibly tender & endearing.

If one is quiet in a boat, loons are not bothered whatsoever. I literally sat in a boat with no motor running for 30 minutes as mom, dad and baby swam around us, preening & fishing.

Taken with Canon 7D MII EOS
Canon L lens 100-400mm taken at 400mm.
Taken 30 minutes from Kingston, Ontario
