Description
This last winter I was blessed beyond blessed to visit and spend time with 4 northern hawk owls in Northern Quebec. For this one it was actually an 8 hour drive one way. I am beyond blessed above and beyond the moon and the stars for my friend Steve who helped me to find and locate these beautiful, rare, small owls from the Northern Boreal Forests.
The Northern Hawk Owl while perched is literally the size of an apple. They hunt during the day and are as fast as a speeding bullet when they fly. I was over the moon to get this cutie ontop of this lamp post.

Heather this is an extraordinary image. Such a minimalist feel to this...so we concentrate on the owl perched. What a find! Loved reading your description and your devotion to these magnificent creatures.

Really cool capture! It sounds so cool when you describe how you go out and "hunt" owl encounters
Heather King replied:
♥ thanks so much dear Nicklas, The days where I am housebound for months do to chronic pain I actually spend too much time researching migratory patterns as well, I would say my life is completely dedicated to owls, I just love them beyond comprehension. Makes me smile so big that you read my descriptions :)
