I had the pleasure of visiting my new favorite owl wonderland in Quebec:)
I fell MADLY in love with this barred owl! There were 2 barred owls in this territory, one across the street in the forest in which the great gray owl occupies, and then beautiful creature in a small forest who dwells by 'the lake that never freezes"!
For the last 5 years I have been ACHING to see a barred owl, and this past weekend it paid off! I seen this gorgeous owl goddess sitting high in a tree quietly pondering the universe. I talked to her, told her how beautiful she is and how I wanted an eternity to find her. She looked at me with those big black eyes and my heart turned to goo!!!
The more I talked quiet and soft to her, it appeared as if she looked deeper into my soul:)
