It was a beautiful day when I seen this gorgeous barred owl perch high above. It was an incredibly windy day as well. The wind was blowing her beautiful feathers so much it looked to me as if she was the owl version of Marilyn Monroe as the wind was blowing her dress made of feathers.
Dedicated to Steve, thank you Steve for spending the day with me trying to find her again♥ taken in Quebec, Canada

Heather you are so welcome. When you get a chance check out something I dedicated to you. It's called "Barking Up The Wrong Tree." Inside the knot holes of this tree captured in Zion National Park, it looks like parent owls are in one knot hole and the owlets are in the other knot hole. But no can get to them because they are barking up the wrong tree. My little story on this one. Hugs, Janet

Heather dear, I love this so much. This looks like a painting of the past, like the Old Masters painted. Old World feel. I love this effect done to your (as always) magnificent image. She has a sad melancholy look to me, in thought about her life. "Ahh!, woe is me." You know my imagination and always a story to tell. 💕And favorite Janet
