This is the eldest of the 2 great horned owlets I was privileged enough to watch from 2 weeks of age until what you see here. This was last spring and one of thee most incredible experiences of my life. I got to see this little one take his first flight as well as seeing him on the ground for the very first time. There is nothing more precious and more endearing to me than owls, and to be able to watch them grow up, in the wild, is the highlight of my life.
