About Heather King
My name is Heather King, you also may know me as Locustgirl.
I am in love with any and all art forms. I live for photography.
I am a self taught artist/photographer who uses my inspirational vision of the world to transform my awkwardness into something uniquely original and peculiarly beautiful.
Owls are my passion and obsession. I have been blessed by having close encounters with a snowy owl, as well as the great gray owls.
When I am not creating, I spend my time trying to raise awareness for lyme disease. There is no treatment in Canada and there are hundreds of us in Ottawa, and all over this country with this debilitating disease who have to travel to the USA to see a lyme literate doctor having to live on heavy cocktails of antibiotics.
Even though my life has changed because of this disease, more blessings have come to me now more so than ever before. I am blessed by so much love, support, understanding and compassion. My biggest wish in life is to beat this disease so I can do everything in my power to help others suffering.
