Sounding off because he's #2! HA! HA! I have NEVER seen this bird before. If I did, I would probably have thought it was just as you said, a hand painted ceramic duck for use as a decoy or something (only because it's outside). Great capture of him squeaking out, HEY, Did You Hear The News?! Great job of bringing another wonder of creation for us to enJOY my dear! Keep them rolling. Don't forget about that travel book. I am thankful for the ACTIVITY STREAM PAGE, wouldn't have known about this one otherwise. 💕And Janet

Dedicated to Steve, thank you for taking me to visit these friends all of the time
Now that momma snowy owl goddess is gone￿The male wood duck is my new love . Momma snowy will always be #1, but he is most definately #2. These are thee most beautiful duck, simply because they don￿t look or seem real. It looks like someone hand painted a wooden duck and placed it on the water. I am in love with his red eye, and the squeak he makes.

A minor concentration of my hobby came when I attended high school, (in the early 90’s) when I learned about film processing in a dark room, developing and making prints. It gave me skills I still use today. Life for a while hit Fast Forward, a whirlwind of change, from black and white, to color, then zip past the whole transition to digital, and land in 2011. Quite a technology ride. Now in front of a...
